Hi, I’m Federico — an IKO Level 2 certified instructor with over 10 years of experience offering kitesurf lessons in Óbidos Lagoon and beyond.

I’ve worked with over 1,200 students and spent more than 4,500 hours teaching kitesurfing — always focused on helping people of all ages learn to ride safely, confidently, and with stoke.

We provide all essential gear—kite, board, harness, helmet, and radio communication. Just bring swimwear, towel, sun protection, and a positive attitude!

After mastering your first water starts, most students are able to safely start and stop on both sides and begin riding upwind within **3–6 hours** of consistent lessons.
What if there’s no wind on my lesson day?
We only run lessons when the wind forecast is ideal for your level. If conditions change, we'll reschedule or adapt your session to ensure safety and maximize your time on the water.
Can I learn jumps, tricks, or wave riding in my lessons?
Absolutely! Our intermediate and advanced coaching covers transitions, first jumps, wave riding, and other tricks—all supported by radio coaching in safe conditions.

Do I need to be fit or young to learn?
